Hello.Just got our noa2 on august 15. filed April 19th and send back once request for evidence. California.

Well i'm self employed i made right around $18,000 and was in school taking classes.

I have a few questions

1)From the instruction on 134 it says if self employed only last years filing. Is this correct??

2) should i bother with a co sponsor. I heard Manila doesn't take co sponsor.

3) I have bank account with $20,000 but it's in my business name I am the only signer on it. I own my own house no mortgage too. I have the deed but i don't know how to prove i don't have a mortgage unless i can get court house to stamp something???

4)Do they just glance at the financials or they do interrogation??

my lady is going nuts and a nervous wreck which makes me a nervous wreck i don't want to let her down.

thanks everyone,

Correct, and use line 22 of your 1040 for annual income on Line 7 of I-134.

Use the income guideline from USCIS http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

For 2 people, you'd need $18,912. In your case, you're short by $912. To use your asset to qualify, you'd need to use multiplier of 3 or roughly $3000 in asset. As far as your mortgage, your Title Insurance will show no lien in your house to proof free and clear.

Hi,

1. you need to provide the latest income tax return which is on 2011.

2. For Co-sponsor, my fiance only earn 13, xxx last year. He got a full time job last year Sept2012 until now and expected to earn $18,xxx-$19,xxx at the end of this year. It's still not that big. He just included an explantion letter stating why his salary is below the poverty guidelines, employment letter, and 6 latest pay stubs as a proof of current sustained income. Then, He gave me his latest bank statement of $2,000. and lastly, his car worth $4000, he included the property certificate as a proof of ownership. The CO in Manila didn't ask for a co sponsor. I just told the American Consul to please accept our co-sponsor which is his brother in law and he placed it on my file. I got approved.

3. If you include your savings, I think, your current work will be the proof that the savings is yours or just state it in your explanation letter if you will make one.

4. They are very particular with the financial support. Even though you will see them only glancing at it, maybe inside the window/after the applicant has been interviewed, they will review everything that they submitted. They are also asking about the current job of the USC fiance.

what about the business bank account is it good or no good?? it;s under my business name.

thanks

Providing the business is sole proprietor and the bank account stated as,

Your Name

DBA

Your Business Name

then it should be fine.

If incorporated or LLC, it cannot be accepted because corporation cannot sponsor your fiancee.
