I think it's pretty obvious - if indeed he is guilty of the act, his "agenda" was to inflame tensions between Muslims and the Christian minority.

BTW (since you brought up the subject) I could not help but notice that you were not as keen to jump into this discussion to defend a helpless, mentally disabled Christian child before the blame shifted on to that 'Imam.'

I just found the info - had to search for it.

Yes, he is facing blasphemy charges for allegedly putting pages of the Qur'an into the bag of trash. That is a potential death penalty crime in Pakistan.

So, Boiler... do you believe that people should be put to death for desecrating the Qur'an ?

As I've already mentioned, I don't agree with blasphemy laws, so in my opinion, the charge of falsifying evidence is far more serious. But that's just me...
