The number of times a religious person has killed in the name of <insert Imaginary Friend> = 10s of billions

The number of times an atheist killed in the name of <insert Imaginary Friend> = 0

I win.

You forgot:

Number of times an atheist has killed in the name of something other than religion ?

Not important unless they kill in the name of atheism..

If a catholic guy or atheist guy kills his wife because he caught her cheating it had nothing to do with religion.

If people kill on religious grounds or organize killings/destruction through religions means that's a different story.

What about people who kill foreign invaders or occupiers, but their enemies label it as killing on religious grounds, and uniformed people believe that ?

I support Israel because they are one of the few real democracies in the middle east. They don't take any ####### from their barbaric neighbors, and they are our ally. I could really not care less if they are Buddhist catholic or whatever.

Israel is a democracy for Jews, not for its non-Jewish citizens (Christians, Muslims and others,) who are relegated to second-class status. Israel is in fact an ethnocracy, with an array of rights and privileges that available only to Jews and denied to its non-Jewish citizens - from immigration for family members to property rights. Its Law of Return, Absentee Property Law and Citizenship Law all enshrine ethno-religious discrimination against its non-Jewish citizens. Israel allows Israeli neighborhoods to refuse non-Jewish residents on the basis of their ethnicity - 70% of Israeli towns do this. Israel operates a segregated school system, and provides non-Jewish towns with far fewer services and support than Jewish towns. Israeli officials routinely talk about “Judaizing” areas and the “demographic threat” posed by non-Jewish babies.

All of this, and I haven’t even started on its apartheid policies in the West Bank.

Lebanon does a better job at being a democracy than Israel does.

By the way, contrary to popular belief, Israel is not officially “an ally” of the United State - there is no treaty of alliance or mutual defense agreement between the two countries.

So if I'm a Jew Palestinians would welcome me with open arms?

If you were a Palestinian Jew, you would have the same rights as any Palestinian or Christian Muslim. And there are Jewish women married to Christian or Muslim Palestinian men who are also welcomed there.

But somehow, I think you want to know if "any" Jew in the world would be welcome to move into Palestine. Illegal immigrants are frowned up.

Actually with the Israeli occupation, just about any Jew in the world can move to Palestine - as an illegal settler, with government perks and full protection from the Israel army.

Frankly, I don't give a damn why someone wants to kill me. I don't want an atheist to kill me for no reason any more than I want a religionist to kill me for a dumb reason.

I support Israel because they are one of the few real democracies in the middle east. They don't take any ####### from their barbaric neighbors, and they are our ally. I could really not care less if they are Buddhist catholic or whatever.

I'm an Israeli and I can tell you that Israel is no democracy.

I'm Palestinian. I have Jewish family members. A lot of us do, you'd be surprised. Actually, some of us used to be Jews.

Palestine is a geographical area, Jew is a religion.

I suppose there must be some Jews who are not from Palestine somewhere in there lineage?

Did you notice what question I was responding to? However, according to Zionists, all Jews are from Palestine.
