Hi all,

I am new here in this site, i need some help with someone of you guys. I just have a question about the different address on our marriage certificate. Before our marriage we are living in one apartment but on our marriage certificate we have different address because my husband still using his old address where his parents living and everyday we always there but we are sleeping here in our apartment, but when he filed the i-130 he used our address here in our apartment. Then now we have interview this coming september 13.

My question is, what if the Immigration officer will ask us if we are living together before marriage, then we say yes but our address on the marriage certificate are different, do you all guys think that would be a problem? what we should say if the officer said why we have different address on our marriage certificate if we are living together before marriage?

All of your help will highly appreciated.

Thank you.

The only questions asked of us were those on the I-485 form like: name, date of birth, Mothe's name. Father's name, and then all those have you ever questions. I would not worry about it. Peope change addresses al lthe time. I'd have to look at our marriage certificate but I do not think the address is on there and even if it is they do not care if you were living together before marriage. The only thing that matters is that you are joining your lives after marriage. Just tell the IO what you have told us here IF this should come up. I bet it does not come up.

Good luck,

Dave
