Republicans are backing away from this guy like he has an infectious disease.

He said something stupid, inaccurate, and offense.

No need for you to defend him. Though it doesn't surprise me at all that you are.

PLease show everybody in what post I defended him....... rather I am laughing at you.

The number one ROCK-STAR at the Dem convention in 10 days will be the same guy who could keep his hands off women... women willing .......or not.

Where is your heart burn about that?

Did I say that it was okay? Nope. He was a good President in the opinion of two thirds of Americans. You figure it out.

You said in your opinion he was a damn good president. So you would vote for him again if you could rapist or not ?

If the guy had any decency in him, he wouldn't have said these things to begin with. And he wouldn't have won the Republican primary in Missouri. ;)

His apologies are a little too late

You have trouble staying on topic, don't you?

Where did I say I liked, admired, or thought Bill Clinton was a rock star?

Oh. Nowhere.

Continue on with your nonsense that has nothing to do with this story, though. It's cute.

Nothing wrong with saying the guy is an idiot and should drop out of the race. I agree with that. However to paint all Republicans with his brush is fair only if you say all Dems are serial rapist like Clinton, Kennedy and Condit.

Well that would be pretty silly, wouldn't it.

So it's ok that Clinton was sleazy and abused women because in your opinion he was a good President. I don't think i would admit that I was that much of hypocrite. .

The difference in conservatives is we don't defend scumbags like the senatorial candidate that made that remark. You can't find a liberal anywhere that will not defend Clinton who was a sexual predator, Kennedy and Condit that killed women.

Do you really think it's so simplistic?

Republicans unleashed a furious campaign to drive Representative Todd Akin out of the Senate race in Missouri, but he said that he would not drop out.

Looks like he's staying in. I'm surprised. I imagined a chastened withdrawal down, followed by the usual "I don't want to be a distraction to the party, this country has work to do!" blah-de-blah.

I maintain my Twinkies think tank theory, though. Look for it in political science textbooks in 25 years!

Tea Party types have none of that old school elegance that would cause them to fall on their swords one after another, much to the delight of the recalcitrant left.

This is pure window-dressing by the Republicans. He merely stated - albeit in less than perfect words - what the GOP party platform on the issue is and now he needs to go?
