K-1 visa form I-129F

pls. help us ans. the question no. 18 of I-129f, my fiance was born here in phil and has been petition by her mom born and raise at US, my fiance has been naturalized this year. we met since we are high school and we been bf and gf since i was college when i was 18 now that i am 25 and he already got his naturalization we are planning to get marriend. my question is at Q no. 18 it is state if we met or seen within 2 years prior the filing of petition what we are going to check the yes box or the no box?. the last time we met was 6 years ago his last day here in the philippines. we both decided not to go back home instead finish the 5 years requirement for the citizenship. how we will ans. the Q no. 18?...pls help us. thank you

Then you cannot file for K1, you have to meet again, at least once - meeting in the last 2 years is a requirement that can't be overlooked.

my fiance wants to do the wedding ceremony at us not here in philippines...because it takes a lot of time once we file k3 visa unlike with k1,,we been waiting for his naturalization for long. is there any possible way we can do just to prove our intention? thank you for reply.

You currently have two visa options available to you. If you want to apply for a K-1 Fiance(e) visa, one of you has to travel to actually meet one another, and document that meeting as described in the Guides (located at the top of the forum page). Then you will have met that requirement of the K-1 visa, refer to the step-by-step K-1 Visa Guides in the Guides section for more details/requirements of the K-1 visa. Your other option is to get married, and apply for a CR-1/IR-1 spouse visa. The details and requirements are also in the Guides section of the forum. K-3 visa is obsolete and not applicable. There is also an excellent visa comparison chart located in the Guides section. In summary, I hope that I understood your current citizenship/residency situation correctly.

Processing times are not all that different between the K1 or the CR1 spouse visa. Choose where you want to marry and then petition for the corresponding visa.

When he comes to see you, then get married and file CR1.

When it is approved, you will be able to get your green card after entering the US. You can work and travel.

With K1, you file for adjustment of status after getting married, then wait for employment authorization and permission to travel cards, and the green card comes about 7 months after filing adjustment of status. (it also costs $1070.00)
