Question about I-134 and bank statement

Hi fellow Vjers!

I really need your sound judgement about the situation I have.

My interview is on the 30th and everything seems to be good to go except for one thing. My fiance sent all the necessary docs we need to present on the day of my interview including the form I-134 and his bank statement. When we talked earlier, I found out that the bank statement I have is currently not updated because he withdrew some money from his bank account just recently.

Is it ok if I just put the amount stated in his bank statement in I-134 though it's not updated? My fiance said USEM can always call his bank to check its existence and the amount it contains. He seemed not be bothered since it's legit.

What do you think should I do? Should I ask him to send a current and updated bank statement again? Know that sending docs thru fedex doesn't come cheap. Or should we just leave it at that? I'm really worried about this because I don't want to give the Consul any reason to think that we are submitting inaccurate documents which might lead to the delay of my approval or worse, a visa refusal.

I hope someone could help me with this. I need your response ASAP. Thanks a lot. And God bless us all.

Not sure if it matters, but reading the I-134 it seems to be asking specifically what is in SAVINGS, so if the bank statement or it's current amount deals with for example a CHECKING account, I don't think you will have too much to worry about... As long as one of the amount in your savings remains intact.

RFE reply 8/3/12

Just go to the bank's website, save it and attach to an email. If it can't be saved, print it, scan it as PDF file and attach to an email. You don't need to send it through FedEx. Good luck! :)

if assets are not needed to met the 125% income requirement, I wouldn't worry about it.

  Agreed.

OP...You will need to submit his current paycheck stubs to show that his current sustained income on an annualized basis is above 125% of the poverty level. The consular officer will be looking for that.

No your fine as long as everything else is in order and you have proof of income VIA ITR and letter from company etc.
