When I was filling out the forms for AOS, I used my married name eventhough I didn't change my name legally. I will receive my EAD in a few days and I was wondering if it will be possible to change my name on my SSC and DL using EAD. My EAD will be in my married name and I just want everything to match up when applying for a job

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly, but I would check the laws in your state. Typically your marriage license (even if it doesn't list the name change) can be used to acquire a new SS card and that can be used to acquire a new DL. (Because think about it, a lot of times Americans who don't have an EAD or anything are changing their names.)

Yeah, bring marriage cert. and EAD to SSA and try it - that's about the best advise we can give you. They'll check your immigration status, and since you're eligible to work now, your marriage cert. should be accepted.

Otherwise seach VJ for keywords such as change name, EAD, name of the office you're going to.
