Here's a visual of our defense budget insanity. We could - and should - roll this back significantly in favor of making investments at home. If the defense budget was slashed by a third, down to $500 billion, we'd still be outspending the next 10 countries with the biggest military expenditures combined. These next 10 countries represent a total population of almost 3 billion people. And the 300 million of us would still outspend them if we were to spend 30% less on defense.

It's about this administration leaking, whether officially sanctioned or not, operational details of US Special Forces, thereby placing those most likely to face danger at additional risk, all for political gain.
