On Wednesday, the Law Enforcement Examiner reported that a group, Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund, Inc., began airing political advertisements criticizing President Barack Obama's service as Commander in Chief. Now a former commander of Navy SEAL Team Six is leading a political action committee (PAC) with a simple mission: Defeat Barack Obama and his leaking White House. according to a press statement released on Thursday.

Ryan Zinke, a former commander of Navy SEAL Team Six, started a super PAC, Special Operations for America, which is dedicated to supporting Mitt Romney and slamming President Obama on leaks and on politicizing Bin Laden’s death. According to Mr. Zinke, these two super PACs are just the first salvo in what will be a sustained assault on the president by high-level ex-soldiers.

Zinke stated that the series of White House links and a campaign commercial showing the draft-dodger Bill Clinton questioning whether GOP candidate Mitt Romney would have given the order for SEAL Team Six to conduct a raid at Osama bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan had a lot to do with organizing his PAC.

Zinke is also angry over the Obama White House leaks about the Bin Laden raid to a pair of filmmakers who are making a movie about the operation as something that was upsetting to military personnel.

I am happy to give monies to that PAC.

ETA - it's not simply that they're ANTI-OBAMA. It's solely that it's a Navy Seal Doing it. I'm Pro-Navy-Seal - and this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for sending monies in to help sway the system.

Only if you believe that these a couple of wackos represent our military. I don't see any evidence of that.

Blind, too, I see.

I like the way you classify anyone holding an opinion that runs counter to the current administration as a wacko. Helps you avoid having to engage in rational discussion of those viewpoints, whether they are valid, or not.

When it comes to Special Forces, such as the Navy SEALs, divulging anything concerning operational details in public will be seen by those service personnel as a breach of confidence and putting lives in danger. And when you're dealing with the types of operations these service personnel are used for, with their already high level of inherent risk, added danger is the last thing that is needed.

So calling an ex- SEAL a wacko for opposing the current administration's leaking of operational details, whether officially sanctioned, as many believe, or not, is seriously divorced from reality.

You got it backwards, Dog. The only opinions of military personnel that are NOT reflective of the military are them libtards...probably all the ghey ones. Everyone knows the military is always Right Wing, loves war and hates peace hippies like that kenyan.

LOL a couple of Military Wackos. Having spent 13 years as a Military offcier I can assure you of two things.

1.. The former commander of the most elite unit in the U.S. military is not a wacko

2. Not liking our current CINC is a prevalent attitude among our military leadership.

There is an ex-military man that doesn't like the President. Fine. That happens. Always has, always will. But you cannot deduct from that that the military is somehow losing confidence in the Commander in Chief and still expect to be taken seriously.

Unlike you, I would never take away the ability of our military to express an opinion.

And if you believe this officer to be an isolated PoV, that's your prerogative. You've been wrong before. One more time won't make much of a difference.

Obama is not well liked by the Military as a whole, that is a fact. I was in during the Clinton years and he was not well liked either. Most of the time Liberals aren't. Why do you think that politicians like Gore and Obama try to keep the military from voting. They can tip the scales in places like FL and decide the whole election.

Obama, Paul net most military workers' donations

WASHINGTON — Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Ron Paul have little in common politically, except their opposition to the Iraq war. Both top a new list of presidential candidates receiving campaign contributions from people who work for the four branches of the military and National Guard, according to a study released Thursday by the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics.
