Hello all,

What name should I put in the box outlined by heavy border on the form G-325A? My husband last name (my married name- I am trying to change my name through those forms) or my last name ( my family name-father)?

I am sorry for that, I am so confused yet, because I don't have my name changed on my marriage certificate.

Thanks

Use your new "married name" on all Family Name fields on the forms you submit.

Some of the forms have an additional field Other Names used (I-765) or All Other Names Used (G-325A)- you will put your maiden name in those fields.

Thank you so much Malagasy!! I am about to finish the forms. Today I am going to take the passport-style photos. As I read on all instructions I will need 5 photos and my husband 1. Is that correct? Because is a total of 6..and I saw on others petitions that are 5 total.. :bonk:

It depends on exactly which forms you're filing. It could be up to 7 of the beneficiary. Are you doing A/P (I-131) and I-765?

Your profile says you filed for F-1 visa? Are you filing AOS based on marriage to a USC?

There should be 7 photos for you and 1 for your husband.

2 - I130 (1 for you, 1 for husband - see What Documents Do You Need to Prove Family Relationship, 1.C. of instructions)

2 - I485 (see #4 on page 3 of instructions)

2 - I131 (see 2. Photographs on page 5 of instructions)

2 - I765 (under Required Documents, see 2.C on page 6 of instructions)

Just out of curiosity, on the I-765 form what "code" did you put in field 16?

ok.

You need 1 picture of you and 1 of your spouse for the I-130.

You need 2 of you for each of the following: I-485, I-765, and I-131.

Total: 7 of you and 1 of your spouse.
