Hey everybody, I am a US citizen and applied for my husband, our case has been through from NVC and we have an interview appointment on 25th of september 2012. There is some confusion which I want to clear and need some guidance. I hav'nt been to the US from last 5 years.. and when I was in the US I was studying in middle school and didnt work because I was under 18. so when we were asked for an affidavit of support form for my husband, I asked one of my family friendS living in the US to become my joint sponsor and sponsor my husband AND THEY FILLED OUT THE FORM AND SENT IT TO THE NVC, I was later told by the NVC that they need my affidavit of support form too, I told them that I am unable to fill that form cus I was under 18 when I used to Live in US but they still wanted it and told me that its a requirement so I filled my name and my husband's name ON I-864 (AOS FORM) and sent it to the NVC with an explanation letter then again I recvd an email stating that they have sent my case to Islamabad embassy for interview but u did not fill out your affidavit of support form properly and u have to fill it again and bring it to the embassy on the interview date. I am just soo confused that how should I fill it. I really need help in this guys plz..! and they also want my US PROOF OF DOMICILE.. HOW CAN I GET MY PROOF OF DOMICILE IF I HAVN'T BEEN THERE FROM LAST 5 YEARS???..what can that be? I am veryy confused..! LOOKING FORWARD TO A PROMPT AND POSITive RESPONSE THANK YOU :-)

THIS IS THE EMAIL WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND... PLZZ IF SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS IT PLZZ HELP ME AND TELL ME WHAT THEY WANT.. AND THERE R 2 BRACKETS (X) LIKE THIS WHAT DOES THIS MEANS??

you still have to fill out i 864 regardless of income..even if it;s $0, you are the main sponsor You have to show that you have a residence in the US that you intend to live in when returning to the US with your spouse. If you do not have a residence to live in with your spouse in the US a visa will not be issued

Dont worry, its not a big deal, you did few mistakes in i864 FORM, 1st u did not send all 8 pages of i 864 to nvc, u have to fill all pages, if u dont qualify for any thing just write N/A , on visa journey the sample for i 864 is available.and u need to proof ur us domicle, send ur birth certifiate, passport copy, school card, bank statement, any thing which shows that u was in usa, dont worry these are just formalities, and anything u want to ask than u can ask,

i have really one question for you that what are you doing in pakistan since 5 yrs, its really big time, health issues in pakistan, electricity problem, terrorist attacks, and many more really 5 yrs............................just kidding

alas, you must be able to prove up either:

1. proof of usa domicile or

2. steps taken to re-establish USA domicile

by

Interview Day.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
