My wife filed her paperwork on 07/23/12 and received NOA 1 on 07/26/12 as well as received an appointment for biometrics on 08/15/12. After the biometrics we’ve heard nothing so far.

Does anyone know the processing time for an i-485 at the National Benefits Center? Also, does the processing time begin once the NOA 1 arrives or after you submit your biometrics?

I look at the processing times table for the NBC but nowhere does it mention the processing times for i-485. I’ve even tried to do an inquiry on the USCIS website, but it keeps telling me that my wife’s case is not outside of the processing times. It would be nice to know what the processing time is, so I wouldn’t have to inquire every day.

Thanks.
