Lawyer sent mine May 22-24 , so going on 3 months .

June, 1996: EWI from Honduras and been here ever since !
April , 2001: American born father filed I-130
May 22 , 2012 : Lawyer sent AOS
June 10, 2012 : checks cashed
June 11, 2012 : NOA's arrived
June 13, 2012 : Biometrics appointment arrived for July 5th
June 19, 2012: Succesful walk-in at Bellflower,ca office
July 25, 2012 : First card production ordered text/email
July 30, 2012 : second card production ordered text/email
July 30 ,2012 : Third text/email approval notice sent
July 31,2012 : Fourth text/email usps reported it picked up email
Aug 2, 2012 : Fifth email USPS has delivered your new card at address on file
Sep 7,2012 : Text notification update: On September7th we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 10,2012!!
Sep 10,2012: receieved interview letter in the mail for October 10 at LA field office!

May 6,2013 : Recieved email I-485 approved

May 10,2013: card document production ordered/ received Welcome letter

May 16,2013: Received Green Card in Mail!

Hello, I wanted to start this Topic because I'm curious about how long you have been waiting for your Green Card.

I checked the Immigration Timelines and I see so many waiting. Maybe some people haven't updated their Timeline recently. Maybe I'm just hoping they haven't because it's been so many months.

Can everyone waiting please give the date you filed the I-485?

This will give all of us an idea how much longer await we could have.

Months : 3 and waiting.....

I actually filed June 22

Had Biometrics July 11

Interview date August 31st

Will keep you posted on what happens

Hey was wondering what location did you have your interview and you said your passport was stamped is that a temporary stamp till they mail in your green card? Did you ask the officer for it?/

It's amazing how there is no pattern for how they work, some get with stamp after AOS some don't, some taken of their i94 some don't, some wait 3 months and done some a year...

It's the government. You can't expect consistency and if you do, you are sure to be disappointed.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

It has a lot to do with the status you are adjusting from.

My case was transfered to California. Im not expecting anything before February. I'll hopefully get my EAD soon. Is there a time limit on that when i get it? If it runs out before I get my green card will I have to quit my job?

The EAD Card is valid for 1 year...

You would get a renewal on the EAD card if it expires before receiving the GC

They received my paperwork October 28th, 2011 and still no Green Card. It's at CSC. I put in a service request about 3 weeks ago and got our congressman involved about 2 weeks ago. 28th of August it will be 10 months.
