Hello, I wanted to start this Topic because I'm curious about how long you have been waiting for your Green Card.

I checked the Immigration Timelines and I see so many waiting. Maybe some people haven't updated their Timeline recently. Maybe I'm just hoping they haven't because it's been so many months.

Can everyone waiting please give the date you filed the I-485?

This will give all of us an idea how much longer await we could have.

Thanks so much and The Best of Luck to everyone :)

I'll begin :)

Dated Filed: 5/29/12

Months : 3 and waiting.....

Thanks for starting this thread. Though, I must apologize, we haven't any info yet. We are just starting the AOS process, we just mailed off our AOS "wad o' docs" packet yesterday to the Chicago Lockbox. We mailed in two application sets, one for my spouse (prior K-1) and one for my step-son (prior K-2).

But obviously we are quite interested in other's responses.

TIA.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Hey tru_love....we just finished AOS earlier this month.

Filed: 12/2011

Approval: 8/2012

So roughly 8 months for us. Then again that was after some prodding from our Senator. I know there are still some cases from November and December pending at CSC.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

Thanks! I hope you guys get approval far quicker. CSC is strange. Some approved in just a few months...others have been waiting a long time. I have no idea what their system is.

Thanks!

As we all know, we send them, on a hope and a prayer, a wad o' docs and a wad o' cash, and then sit around like firefighters waiting for the next alarm. Sounds a bit like the old Pavlov dog experiments, and we are the subjects!!! Yeow!....
