Hi all Vj's !!

I don't know what to expect ?? Let me explain u guys..I'm a US citizen n my fiance is from the UK, after almost 4 yrs together we decided to fill the K1 visa, in order to get married n live together, but I'm concerned that it could be denied.My fiance have a criminal record from when he was 19 to 21 yrs old, it was related to drugs n burglary for which he paid a fine of 45 pounds n served 6 months in jail. Before filling the K1 he filled a tourist visa which was denied for he's criminal record, he was tested for drugs and all tests came out negative as he don't do drugs anymore,all this things happened when he was young,an rebel, but still it was a long time ago it was denied, don't know if this time could happen the same thing even though 3 yrs has passed since he was denied..have anyone been approved with a criminal record like this ?? Which r my options ??? What should I do ?? Going crazy about it ..

How long ago was it? how much drugs was it and what type of drugs?

Guns and drugs are big no nos in US immigration. Marijuana is weighted differently than, say, heroine or cocaine.

It was almost 18 yrs ago...a small bit of cannabis, paid 75 pound fine n 6 month of jail, no guns involved in burglary, as it was at he's step brother house where he was staying they got into a fight for a girl n got kick out, that's why he brake in to get he's stuff, n because of that he just paid a fine of 45 pounds..
