Printing downloaded forms for AOS from USCIS website

I was just wondering if there are any specifics when printing downloaded forms from the USCIS website? For example;do I need to print them on a specific type of paper etc? I know this might be a silly question but I am just a little paranoid about these things. Also when I try to print the downloaded forms the barcodes at the bottom do not get printed. Is that going to be a problem?

just regular paper.

I am not sure about the bar code,

I checked the old form I printed and it has the whole bar code down there

Day7 -- 2012.05.15 Emails/texts acceptance confirmation at 5:16pm
Day8 -- 2012.05.16 Checks been cashed in the morning
Day11--2012.05.19 I-797C 4 hard copies received.
Day14--2012.05.22 Biometrics Appointment received. Scheduled for June 5th.

Bar code should be there. Try opening them with a different browser.

I actually just tried opening it with a different browser but the barcode still don't show up. Will they accept the forms if I print it out with the size option on my printer that says "Fit" or do the forms need to be printed with the size option "Actual Size". The barcodes only show when I use the "Fit" size option.

Are you downloading the forms and opening them in Adobe? If not, I'd try that.

Also, check to see if there's a "print" icon in adobe. If so, use that, not your browser's print function.

I really don't think they care what printing preferences you have used.. the main thing is that all the text is printed, and the bar codes are printed.

Did you get it to work?

The other thing you can do is download a free trial version of Adobe Pro. You can download your forms to your computer, open them with Adobe Pro and fill them in, save and print.

If it doesn't work, you can order forms online or over the phone from USCIS and they will be mailed to you in about a week.
