I remembered someone posting about this last July. But too bad I cant find his post anymore!

just wanna ask anyone from the PHilippines who have had a K1 iinterview and getting denied in a tourist visa before? I was going through the D6156 form and there was a question of Visa Refusal before. 2 years ago, last october 2010, I applied for a tourist visa, cause I was one of the bridesmaids of my Boyfriend's (now fiance) sister. Of course, they didnt give me one for the reason that I have not provided enough proof of ties in the philippines although I submitted certificates that I am a graduating medical student in the coming months. I even said Im only going to be there for 10days, since I was having my hospital duties. But still to no avail they didnt approve me. actually I was thinking that it might be a good proof too, since they encode everything they ask you during the interview, and I mentioned my boyfriend 10x during the interview. because that was primarily my reason and I dont want to lie. So will that affect my K1? or will the CO ponder on that?

sorry for the long intro. Im just so hype with the points that might be touched during the interview and my fiace and I should be prepared  Thank you for all you comments and replies!

No, it won't affect your K1 application, trust me. I personally know someone who went through the same and was successfully approved of a visa. :)

You are welcome and thanks too. You'll do just fine during the interview. Just be confident and be honest. And make sure all your papers are ready.
