Dear All

I have a question about filling out a couple of items on the DS-230.

30.List below all places you have lived for at least 6 months since reaching the age of 16

should i include this from my birth year and date or shall i start from since age of 16

32. List below all employment for the last ten years.

Should this include periods of unemployment too? When the beneficiary was "between jobs"?

33. List below all educational institutions attended.

Should this include "in between" periods as well? For example, if there was a 2 year break between the bachelors and masters degrees, does this need to be filled out in #33?

#30.....not since birth. Only the places you have lived for more than 6 months from the age of 16

#32.....we just filled in the dates of unemployment also...it makes it easier to keep chronological order. Just put "unemployed".

#33....with this one it doesn't matter to much. You can just enter the dates you were attending school.

Read this wiki for NVC process: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

Start calling NVC for your case status 2 weeks from your approval date. It's a very straight forward process if you have all paperwork in good shape.

Put only places where you spent more than 6 months since age 16

32. List below all employment for the last ten years.

Should this include periods of unemployment too? When the beneficiary was "between jobs"?

No need for that. Only specify your job period. Other gap automatically means you were not doing a job.

33. List below all educational institutions attended.

Should this include "in between" periods as well? For example, if there was a 2 year break between the bachelors and masters degrees, does this need to be filled out in #33?

Only specify your educational institutions enrollment period. No need to specify gap periods.
