That happens every year...... Some times of the year, CSC is faster and VSC people are pissed, while other times, VSC is faster than CSC and CSC people are pissed (that was my case). I know it's not easy, but it won't change anything to be pissed at the USCIS. Put a service request if it's way too long and past their announcing goal, or just wait calmly, and BIG advice:

BE PREPARED for the AFTER-NOA2!! Too often, people are only blind-sided by the NOA2 approval (and then post on VJ "I got my NOA2! What's next?"), but the process DOES NOT stop at NOA2. Get you informed of what to do next so you won't wait any avoidable additionnal time away from your loved one.

Well this is depressing, just heard our case(CR1) has been sent to Vermount and was rather excited seeing the 5 months waiting time.

Yet again we have our hands tied and can't do a thing to hurry the process on. I wonder how many people end up ill because of all this stress?

Congratulations to all those who have received their approvals and it looks like VSC is actually starting to work on petitions.

Again though I'm going to point out to those who say this is just a cycle; yes, we know there is a cycle but CSC has been approving quite a lot in under 100 days and this is outside of the cycle. Vermont has stayed unusually higher than CSC. There are exceptions to every trend but just open up Visajourney's trends in the processing times tab and see what I am talking about.

California is doing something right and Vermont is,,, well needing to improve.
