How can they post that they are still processing at 5 months??????

They updated the uscis service center page today!!!! Just speak the truth! I think that is what is really getting to most people. If they just put Jan 16 then we would then say no bid surprises!!!!!! But to lie to put 5 months???? That just angers people.

Oh well, that is our government.

They told my fiance on monday that their website has not been updated until may 2012 and unfortunately the processing time is 6.5 mth at the moment and not 5 mth...

I think we all know it and need to swallow it even if it is frustating when looking at the california centre...

So frustrating. Maybe with CSC going so fast this will put pressure on them to pick up the pace? Maybe they have people on vacation? Who knows, lets just hope they decide to put a little more effort into our petitions.

That is awful...VSC is a lot slower than CSC. I was amazed at how fast mine was processed at CSC since I was expecting 5 months and I'm already in the process of scheduling my interview. Do you think that VSC just gets a lot more applications than CSC?

I totally agree. They should have the common courtesy to at least post the actual time frame and not some random timeframe that meets their organizational goals!

Its ridiculous, nobody from VSC is getting approved in 5 months, yet they still try and deceive everyone.

On a positive note if they post that they are processing within five months on the website as soon as you pass this processing time you can put in a call. From there they should get back to you within thirty days. Not that everything always goes as they say, but I'm trying to think of some positives...

I hear you guys. It was definitely frustrating for us, but at this point, we're just thankful that we got our NOA2 and moving on to the next stage.

From what I heard, they were focusing on another type of visa (there was an article but I can't find it right now) - a refugee-type visa? They've been picking up the pace recently though, as one of the members in the February 2012 filers is keeping track of 808 petitions sent in February. About 40% have been looked at, so for those of you who filed in March, hang in there. I know it's very discouraging and frustrating, considering that CSC is 2 months ahead of VSC, but hang in there and your NOA2 will come.

if your lucky, you might get NOA 2 in 6.5 months. I know some one filed Jan 17th and still waiting.........no rfe
