5 Months 25 days from I-130 received at USCIS.

2 months 9 days from I-130 approved.

Took 1 month 15 days from the date NVC received the case from USCIS.

28 days from AOS bill received.

4 days from the time they received response to NVC checklist (marriage and birth certs not regalized).

Even with the mistke we made with the certs it has been pretty fast even though to us it has felt like years!

Praying for a miracle for a September interview! I miss my wife dearly!

  <- us doing the #win dance

congrats

cheers louza.. ya thats what i've been noticed on VJ that NVC takes around 18-21 working days on average to contact the overseas spouse

in your case as well it took 18 days..so i am hoping for the best but will start contacting NVC from Monday onward..

nice to see your timeline as mine is following your by the difference of few days..will take your help at every step :help:

congrats on your I-130 approval   ..BTW, why don't you call NVC now?? they are still available until 12 am :)

I have a Q:

My case was expedited And NVC told us that it was send to US embassy Aug9, If i have some concerns i will contact the US embassy instead.

Now I registered our case (CR1 category) online in our US embassy website, after that there is an option : schedule an interview?

So i click that option and gave me series of dates on when to schedule an interview-- i choose Sep 12 & they gave me a confirmation appointment.

I am not sure if i am doing the right thing. So I called the US embassy hotline & talk to an agent.

I ask them if my case Was already there or arrived in the US embassy,

But they cant confirm to me that my case is alteady there. So they ask me some Q regarding my case & passport. And told me that my interview is on Sep 12.

I told them that i was the one who pick the interview date from their website options not the NVC bec my case was expedited. The agent told me-""- its okay because by the time of your interview your case will arrive, it will take with in a month for a case to arrive in US Embassy from NVC""

In addition the Agent advice me to take the physical exam 1-2weeks before the interview date.

So i guess that was it,, sep 12 it is.

Does anyone here experience the same way i have??

Did I make the right thing???

Or ill wait until my case will arrive at the embassy & their instructions???

PLEASE HELP ME. I'm still In doubt,

Im scared if by the Time ill go to US Embassy my case is still not there. :(

I know...to be very honest I wasn't even expecting it in 92 days

So its like a big surprise for me..but don't know getting a feeling that NVC might take longer than normal here
