Affidavit of Support

I know this question has been asked before... but, when filing an affidavit of support for the K3 visa, do you use the I134 or the I184? I read in another post that it depends on where your spouse lives. If this is the case, does anyone know which form is required at the London Embassy?

Thanks.

Kristina

K-1 and K-3 visa use I-134 at the visa interview at the consulate, You will use I-864 when you do AOS. later in the states.

The I-134, when used by a conof to determine if the applicant will or wont become a public charge, is used for K visas. The I-864 is a requirement for immigrant visas (e.g. CR-1) and when adjusting status in the US from a K visa. The law clearly states that an I-864 cannot be used for non-immigrant visas such as the K visa.

Thank you for your help, I know the question was a bit repetative. I got confused by a post in another forum where someone responded otherwise. I just wanted to confirm.

Or, since they are K-3, when they complete the Immigrant Visa processing.
