But he's got a pretty good band with some top notch musicians. Two original members of the band Boston, Barry Goudreau on guitar and Sib Hashian on drums. And Michael "Tunes" Antunes on the sax, from John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band. These three guys are outstanding musicians.

Not a very good video, but it gives you an idea of the talent.

Ernie And The Automatics is a good band, I've seen them live. My comment was based on what I know of Ernie Boch Jr. the person. I met him once and he came across as a very arrogant sob. The time I saw his band live was at the Phantom Gourmet Food Festival 3 years ago on Landsdowne St. His band was playing at Jillians and I had VIP tix for the night. I had the opportunity to sit across from Ernie Boch Jr. for a couple hours in the bar/lounge before his band went on. He appeared to be high and was acting like a fool the entire time. He was sitting in an oversized booth with 4 or 5 young women and he took turns plunging his tongue down their throats while rubbing their breasts. I get that kinda stuff happens with rock stars, but this dude is supposed to be a prominent businessman and is married with kids. Most everyone in the lounge was commenting on what a moron he was being. His Father is the one that made the dealership empire, he simply fell into it when the father died and he acts just like the spoiled rich kid.

Da Nile is a river in Egypt. Your rabid anti-American bias is clear for all to see. When given a choice I buy American, you are trying to deflect the argument but adding the word "#######" makes your hostility quite clear. That is a personal attack, plain and simple. There is a domestic auto industry but the same can not be said for TVs and computers, however, the head office of HP is in the US. The bulk of the money stays here and is not funneled to Tokyo like in the case of TOY-ota.

I agree with you about his personality, he does seem like an arrogant snob. I've seen the band several times and talked with all the members and he certainly has the most distant and arrogant attitude. The rest of them are regular guys, with real talent. He basically bought a band so he'd have people to play with. His ability isn't close to the rest of the guys. I get a kick out of him playing the rock star, he isn't that good.

no they're not. i work @ for a large auto group. you can walk the isles @ the toyota parts dept. you're not going to see made in the USA on many of the parts. i'd say 5% of the parts on the shelf would be a VERY generous estimate.

So is it better to buy the Toyota made in the US or the Chevy or Ford made in Mexico???

Just to make you feel better, I also have a Dodge Durango and a Plymouth, both made in the USA.
