That's it you have a 13 digit VIN, The newer 17 digit vin code for cars starts with a country of origin and manufacturer. I have some bad news for you, your 2002 Silverado was produced in Canada, probably in Oshawa. It might explain your obsession with Timbits. My Tahoe was built in Arlington, Texas and its first three digits are 1GN.
