GM lost me as a customer several years ago. The last Chevy I had was a total disaster that I should have known to get rid of before the warranty was up, but I was used to keeping vehicles a while and this one cost me a lot by keeping it. Current daily driver is a Toyota (built in Kentucky) and has been flawless as well as super efficient. I still have a collection of older US cars but they are special interest vehicles for special occasions.

If it makes you feel any better the vehicle is built in Kentucky, but the money goes straight to Tokyo. The emperor says thank you for buying TOY-ota.

The new Mustangs rocks. I bought a 2012 GT Saturday.. I had a 2008 but traded it a while back. I wanted the 5.0 that came out with 2011. While I was shopping Igot to test drive a 2010 GT 500 with only 7K miles. What a sweet ride.

On the showroom floor they had several of the New Shelby GT 500's. 2103 One blacked out one I really really liked. 662 HP. Fatest Production car made in America. 200+ MPH

There was a little hold back. MSRP--68K Dealers are adding 8-12K to that. looking at over 80K out the door.

Unless Bowling Green, KY has succeeded from the Union, I beg to differ. I'm not a Ford Mustang fan but the GT is a fine automobile, hope you enjoy it. I was always partial to Crown Vics and Broncos and 460 Lincolns will always have a soft spot in my heart.

I know, but at least it creates jobs for Americans. What about the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ? Built in Mexico! Edge, Flex,MKX and MKT built in Canada...no US jobs there.

How about GM? Cadillac SRX and Escalade EXT, Chevrolet's Aveo, HHR, Silverado, and GMC's Sierra all built in Mexico. Camaro, Equinox, Impala and the GMC Terrain built in Canada. No US jobs there either. If there are any profits perhaps they can pay back some of their taxpayer funded bailout.

Overseas sales.

Just this past year GE shut down their X-Ray division in Wisconsin and moved it to China. So much for Obama's jobs czar and GE CEO Immelt.

a "2" for the vin number means nothing of the sort. my pickup (chevy) starts with a 2. my camaro started with a "2".

the pontiac, however, starts with a "5" :(

Most Chevy's are ugly, these days, as are Chryslers and some current Fords.

Most Hondas are boring, same with Toyotas and Nissans. Mazdas are starting to look better, and Subarus never gave a Flying Burrito Brother about looking good, as long as they did the job.

You must be slow. I said I have owned Fords. Maybe if you tried reading instead of being a know nothing know it all... I said the Mustang sucks. Two separate issues, I know that must be really complicated for someone like you and spookyturtle.
