WRONG! The request for further evidence varies per case. It depends to the CO's decision review. You could have submitted prior a CENOMAR or CEMAR but after the interview USEM seem to request a Re-verification for those documents which they wan't it directly delivered to Manila Embassy (meaning not allowing the beneficiary touch it) to make sure it is authentic and not tampered. Recto in manila is popular for making up good fake documents that could have triggered this long process. Should the CO been satisfied then she/he can get her visa in 3 up to 1 month time from receiving the NSO certification.

OP, Seem to me that u don't really have to worry. Congratulations!!(L)

She was able to receive an updated cenomar from NSO in less than 1 day?..... :wow:

NO, OP only said the request was complied within that day doesn't mean the paper requested got sent right away to USEM. When I did my re-verification, it took more than a week for NSO Pasay to send the document to USEM.

Yes my fiance was able to get her CENOMAR in Malabon in one day, but the embassy consulate officer requested a NSO CENOMAR from Pasay. Doesn't make sense to me as both of them will state that they came from the National Statistics Office at the top of the form.

RE-verification is slightly different from regular CEMAR or CENOMAR request. Example, regular CEMAR would say, certified the person is married on___ to(spouse name) blah blah, but with re-verification, the document will certify plus it would show the history of marriages if there's any. Hope this help.

Should be fine, once they took the passport it means approved. The usem print out the visa once they received the docs they asked.

You don't have to be worrykicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

That a common wrong thinking. There are cases that USEM took the passport and then later denied the visa application. Lesson, don't be too sure until you got the bad boy in your hands.

but from that case what made the CO think that her CENOMAR is not valid/tampered/altered in anyway? I am firmly asking this, because I am with my fiance for almost 5 years now. My fiance has been here in the philippines since we are attended and graduated in the same univ. I an thinking that this point my be of interest because the CO may think we got married already. and my CENOMAr would prove that. I even got my fiance his own CENOMAR.

My fiance told me tonight that while she was in Pasay at the NSO office after the interview that she was put on the phone and talked with the embassy. Then the NSO employee talked with the embassy. Now who these two were talking to exactly I do not know, but from what she is telling me, all that has to be done is for the 2go service to pick up the NSO CENOMAR and deliver it to the embassy and then the visa will be delivered to her. I have also read where the 2GO Courier Service only picks up documentation from the NSO Pasay on Fridays. She seems confident that the information she received at the embassy and at the NSO that her visa will be delivered shortly. I do not know who to contact to inquire about the situation myself or i would have already shot off 100 emails.

can you get that in advance before the embassy schedule my fiance for an interview?

I would wait for the interview date and then about a week before the interview date i would contact the NSO Pasay office and have the 2go service deliver the document that you need to the embassy with your MNL case number attached to a cover letter.

Dear at USCIS stage we submitted CEMAR and CENOMAR and yet after my interview USEM requested a CENOMAR re-verification. I had a very straight forward case and by the look at CO's eyes he seemed convinced about the authenticity and credibility of our application, seem to me that it is now a days a Manila Consulate protocol specially for fiance visa and CR1 ( marriages under 2 years ).

Hmmmm NSO CEMAR/CENOMAR re-verification request has specific instruction from USEM, there is a form that they will issue to the benefeciary or you can go to NSO website and follow their guidelines and supply the coding or info's asked.
