Good Day to all. Our interview for the CRBA is coming at the end of the month in Manila. Just wanted to know how serious is the interview process, I think i have all the required paper works from the checklist. I am USA born naturalized Filipino, my girlfriend is Philippines born as well as my son.

1> Any tips Before on or During CRBA Interview

2> Is it really necessary for pictures before my girlfriend was pregnant, I am having a hard time retrieving any BEFORE she was. But I have more then enough from the time she was pregnant as well as during labor.

3> What is needed for the papers stating "any original divorce decree and annulment decrees/death certificate" part. I'm assuming that wont be n/a since we have not been married?

4> Also any thoughts on how or the fastest way to get my girlfriend to the states. I hear the fastest way is for me to back home, and apply for a fiance visa. ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS?

-show that you were together around the time of conception (hotel receipts, plane tickets etc)

- Be sure to have proof you lived in the USA for 5 years, 2 of which after age 14.

4: No need to go abck to the US, you can file from Phils.

A.

1. Be there really early. Although you they have numbers and tuff, it wouldn't hurt to be the first.

2. Do not bring gadgets, USB, colognes/perfumes.

3. Arrange your docs where you can easily get stuff when asked (pictures, birth cert, passport, etc)

4. Make sure you have all originals/notarized copies and photocopies.

5. bring something to entertain yourself, aside from the baby. :)

B.

1.You need to prove that you "made" the baby. To simply put, yes. You can also provide hotel receipts, plane tickets that can support that.

C.

1.Fastest way is the FIANCE and like what PP said, you can file it here in the PI.

Another note:

Apply for the baby's PI passport (if you haven't) to not incur any fees from the immigration.

Be prepared for a LOT of waiting!

Thanks for the replies.

What about the requirement for the divorce/death/ decree thing? Will we be needing any documents for that?

Will I need to get my mom to send the ORIGINAL documents for the proof of living in the states? I got scanned docs.

Thank you for any insight
