Wait another minute. I am not catholic but I thought that catholics were less opposed to the theory of evolution than 'fundamentalist' protestants. Any good catholics on here to clarify?

I have never had any problem discussing topics with my friends family and neighbors...

Well let me correct that, I did have one neighbor who just couldn't do it... she would try but you could see the temp rise as she calmly tried to convince me she was right. Her voice would crack and she would go where all libs eventually go when loosing an argument..."YOu just don't have experience in this like I do".

She actually worked for Clinton in Ark and the only thing she was right on was that he would be elected.... she smoked me there.

Really she was the ideal neighbor and even though she was a feminist and all that I think the world of her.

Other than her, I find most everyone can discuss even divisive topics.

The key is -don't make it personal.. and when someone does..... don't take it personal..... it's just talk.
