I sent out my packet for AOS January 26th, 2012. We received a notice for biometrics for February. My wife's fingerprints weren't accepted so we were scheduled again for April 5th, 2012. Since the second biometrics we haven't received a notice. Now it is 8/16/2012 and we haven't heard anything from USCIS. We've tried to call and email a few times, but we never received a email response. When we called the agent told us "we just needed to wait".

Is there anyone on the forum waiting as long and experiencing the same? Any feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Were you transferred at all to another office, like CSC (California Service Center) or is your case still at your local office? Average wait time now is 8-10 months, some a year+...just dependent on many factors.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

You are not alone. There are MANY people waiting longer than you. It can get very frustrating, especially when you seeMay and June filers getting approved already.
