i was interviewed and approved on the 23rd but i still don't have my visa. the problem is not with 2go. the hold-up is with the US Embassy. They always say when i call them that it's still in the process and it's a case to case basis. what sets my application apart from the others? the American Consul clearly stated that everything is good but my fiance was told that it still depends with the consul. :

( what's more frustrating is they don't give you a turn around time. and you can't do anything about it because they hold the "cards" in this game. forgive me for venting here... just worried and frustrated.. :crying:

Yes I agree it is the embassy that is busy. Our interview was on Aug 15th and got the 2Go text on Aug 29th. Got the call from Abs that the visa is ready for pick-up on my birthday, good surprise. She missed my best friends wedding, my birthday and a trip to ATL that were planned that she would attend. Long wait times for the NVC MNL case# and USEM processing the visa made it not open. But, were just so glad that she has the visa and she will

Be coming in 1 week. There are horror stories of getting through this process and also the unfortunate weather tragedies that just happened in Manila, so us being so fortunate, how can we complain.. Good luck to all..

Without doing to much research on this it seems more priority is going to those whose husband's travel to the interview. And the lower priority and longer wait is for the fiance visa where a petitioner has not traveled for the interview. But i could be wrong. It would make sense though. If i have some time i will look more closely at others recent time lines to see if i am right about theory.

I went with my fiancee to our interview. There were 3 other K- 1 applicants that interviewed the same day without their fiance's, and they received their visa's before us. Also some interview's a day or two earlier than ours got theirs before ours. I know of a couple that went and they even waited longer than us. So I think that doesn't have anything to do with it.

A couple questions popped up in our interview that I was asked when I was interviewed alone. Maybe they wanted to double check my answers, who knows. I think its just a case by case basis.
