I wonder why the embassy keep saying it still in process.. Ask your fiance to call them tomorrow.. We had the same date of interview.. I have been calling USEM last week.. They said my visa will be released this week.. I kept tracking my visa at 2go website and I was thankful because on Friday it was "in transit" then Saturday I got my visa through picked up.. I got a text and email the day after

I got my visa.. It says that my document is ready to pick up but I already got it.. ha ha

If it was printed Friday then tomorrow it's definitely w the courier.. Try to track it tomorrow after lunch.. Mine is printed Wednesday and was able to tracked Friday.. UID.. User Identifier or User identification? (not sure) If she is through pick up, did window 72 gave the appointment letter back to her? if so, at the bottom of the page you will find the UID (the 8 digit number)..

Good luck!!

Our interview was Aug 17 and approved. I chatted with agent yesterday and they stated their standard copy/paste answer for in process:

"Thank you for patiently waiting. Upon checking, the applicant's passport is still on process and the passport is not ready for delivery. Please track your passport at a later date or time and wait for another notification once there is an update in the case. Please also be advised that the courier (2Go) sends out a text message to applicants informing them that the visa is out for delivery (it may take 1 working day if within Metro Manila and 2-6 business days for provinces depending on the location) or the visa is ready for pick up at the 2Go office selected by the applicant. All applicants however should be aware that the processing time is an average, and that the turn around time of a specific case can vary due to individual circumstances and other special requirements.

There is no standard turn around time for an Immigrant Visa Application. It depends on the documents that were submitted or on the consular officer who is adjudicating the case. Please note that an Immigrant Visa Application is being handled on a case to case basis. It is not advisable for applicants to finalize any travel plans unless they have received their visas."

Still waiting here, seems like a very long two weeks due to the holidays too. We hope it doesn't prolong into the US holiday this coming Monday. :crying:

First, my fiancee received a text from 2GO today saying her visa is ready for pick-up. &^%ing awesome. Ok, deep breathe.... The best information I ever received from the USEM is through the following number. It was like they were sitting next to the visa's looking at them and saying, "Yes I see it and its so close I can taste it." Honestly, call this number and talk with them - it may be busy or just ringing forever but keep trying. And my last good info call took about 20 rings before they answered.

I was calling that number while I was there and from the U.S now. Yes, its a busy number but i would keep trying. I don't know how much it cost, I was just tired of the canned response from the call center.

Hi I called the same number (3012000) Where are you? I would suggest to keep trying.. They are probably busy.. If I am not mistaken, from here in manila calling long distance.. Is 15 php per 3 minutes.. I don't know if it will cost you the same..
