Why can't you put "unknown." Are you sure she ever had one? If you get USC through parent you don't have to get your own cert. She has a passport I presume.

She used to have but lost somewhere.

But my question is that:

Do we have to have naturalization certificate (or number) when we have US valid passport?

Will it be okay if we put "unknown." and provide copy of US passport?
