Q 17 does not apply to you. Only if you put c(3)c

Sorry about the earlier post, you were asking about the code needed....headbonk.gif

MMADanny, do NOT put the c9 in box 16. I think most of us thought you were also adjusting status due to marriage to a US spouse. NO, you will NOT complete the I-485 form.

You only have 1 shot at this MMADanny and really need to work with an attorney. I remember seeing another post by you and you mentioned you are in TX. What part of TX?

You need to try to find a pro-bono (one that will not charge you) lawyer in your area. Look up the Legal Aid Society number for your area (i.e. Dallas, Houston) and give them a call. They can suggest who might be able to assist you.

one last question i was told that for Q.16 on the i-765 form i have to put ©(9) but im filling the Consideration of Deferred action for childhood arrivals, do i also have to fill form i-485

Sorry Danny, you didn't explain your situation fully, so you got advice that is not appropriate for your situation. You don't fill out I-485, no, and the code for childhood deferral should be on the list.

Just read each question carefully and answer it.

*** ah yes... we do not have a deferred action forum at this time, but are discussing same. Until then, this is probably tyhe best place for it. I edited the title to make it clear what this is. ***
