They should add one more requirement for k1 visa. It should go: met in person in the ladt 2 years, free to marry, able to go insane without negatively influencing your relationship while waiting for noa2. And once the foreign fiance/e moves to the US they should offer free sessions with a shrink. Please csc, have mercy on us!

Bumping this back to the top because I think a lot of us need support right now.

What is happening right now at CSC is definately unfair. We are limited in what can be done about it. We have got to try stay positive and move forward.

I just had a lovely chat with my fiance on Skype before he headed out to work and we found our silver lining (hopefully) in this intolerably long wait. If things keep going the way they are, and I don't get out to the States till around December time, we are going to have a Valentine's Day wedding :) Ahhhhhh he is such a romantic :) But he did say we would have to get the peas planted though as they are supposed to be in for Valentines Day too

I don't know who or where else to vent but here. We're all august siblings so I know we're feeling the same way. The 27th will be my 8 month, I've done everything in my power to push my file to a desk. Wait, let me rephrase that, to push my file onto a desk with someone there.. working.. preferably a USCIS worker not a plumber.. But if the plumber can approve my documents, then i'm all for it. My fiance and I (and i'm sure all of us without the NOA2) just want a timeline to go by, a reliable one. I know they have a lot of documents to go through, but is it too much to ask to shed some light on us? I just want to know how long i'll be waiting.. because every single day feels like forever. I'm embarrassed to say this because I know someone's going to tell me to keep myself busy and etc.. but I've made it a routine to check visajourney and my ins case status every 5 hours. Seriously, sometimes more. I do keep myself busy, I do work on my relationship, and I do work on the next steps of our life in America. (that's for the butt hole that's going to say something negative.) Every minute that passes gives me hope that if I check again, this time, it just might be there. My heart is aching I don't know what to do, when I cry I can literally feel myself break. I'm so sorry for venting, there's just no one else I can talk to who understands. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Hi Bayareaguy,

Did you get anywhere with contacting a senator/congressmen? I vaguely remember you posting about it in a different topic, or maybe earlier on this topic. I sent my signature for permission to inquire on my case to Senator Barbara Boxer but I haven't heard anything yet it's almost been two weeks.. I hope you're getting better luck than I am, given you're an earlier filer than me.

We understand, we are in the same boat. Somedays I am angry about it all, others I am too upset to be angry. It may not feel like it at times, but we will all get through this eventually and will look back on it all and it will seem such a small amount of time in our lives. (well I hope so anyway!)

I am down to just twice a day checking for USCIS updates now. When I get up and just before I go to bed.

Well, well..well..., What's the hold up? 8 mos.? crazy huh. You kidding?! Nov. & Dec. approvals? This is not about "lucky ones", they are actually starting working on it,wow that's unbelievable. If they could have stick to their 5 - 7 mo. goal, i guess we are already with our loved ones by this time, or may be almost. But some Nov. & Dec filers will get that chance,.... the chance/privilege that is supposed to be ours. Sorry no falling in line here!!.... Just get in whenever you want. Thank you USCIS,.. fair enough!

Yeah, I just got a letter response the other day, with the same ole "July 18" nonsense.

I will try the senators, but I doubt it will do any good.
