Does anyone know how they process these files? Why are months processed ahead of others? Out of interest, did you guys sent a really large pack with a lot of evidence etc?

I'm guessing they like playing bingo during their free time (which they seem to have a lot of). Anyways, I sent a copy of my plane ticket and a lot of photos with us two including family members.

Waiting for the NOA2 from CSC is like getting in the shortest line at the supermarket then finding that all the other lines are moving faster................... :bonk:

Go see your doctor. I do not know what the rules are in your country but here they can not fire you easily if you are off sick.

I know they can't but they don't care. It's like this all over the world. What could I do against a huge company? And plus I am worrying if ulcer is a reason for visa denial! lol

It would seem so. It's bizarre how they process them anyway. We only sent around 4 photos and plane tickets.

Do you think the size of the packets have anything to do with it? Might sound stupid, but if they have targets then you'd think they would go for the smaller ones to process asap and hit the targets. Then again, They aren't hitting any targets so probably not. Just trying to find logic with it.

We sent the same amount of evidence as outlined in VJ's instructions. I edited the photocopied evidence for each section so that it would fit on one or two pages, and also included a cover note for each section. We included 5 photo as outlined. Maybe 10 pages max.

We didn't add more than was required, and thought it best to include exactly what is required to avoid getting an RFE.

The complete package was a good 2 inches thick, we assumed this would be normal?

Last night I emailed the USCIS ombudsman about my concerns regarding the processing times at CSC and my pending case.

This morning, I received the same response that someone else posted on visajourney yesterday: The processing time at CSC has slipped due to other processing priorities, but they are currently moving resources to the I-129f cases. As they do so, they anticipate the processing time to decrease. (My letter said not to copy and paste it, otherwise I would have posted it here)

Here is the ombudsman email: OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

I suggest everyone write to them. No matter if you just received your NOA1 last week, or if you have been waiting months. It takes 5 minutes to write a couple of sentences about your concern regarding the processing times for K-1 fiance visas at CSC.

It seems they are finally doing something about it, and if we keep the pressure on, maybe they will realize just how bad it has gotten.
