I received the I864 packet for the I 130 and also had a choice of Agent form do I fill that out or do I send that to my spouse ?

Mark

The petitioner and the beneficiary are both sent the Choice of Agent form, the Beneficiary should fill out the form and send it back

Good luck on the rest of your journey

You can take care of the choice of agent by emailing NVC. The beneficiary should email the NVC (NVCINQUIRY@state.gov) and ask them to appoint someone (preferrably the USC Petitioner because it will be convenient to receive the and send emails from/to NVC) as his/her choice of agent. Make sure, the beneficiary write the case number down in the subject line and write down the names and date of birth of the petitioner and the beneficiary. Usually, NVC replies the acceptance email within 2-10 days.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
