Hello,

I filled I-130 visa for my mother (she lives in Russia) to come here permanently right after I became the US citizen. Everything was going fast and smooth untill NVC requested police certificates from Ukraine and Uzbekistan. I got police certificate from Ukraine through my friend. However Uzbekistan is a different story. We moved out in 1991 from Uzbekistan and don't have anyone there. So the only option is for my mom to go to Uzbekistanian Embassy in Moscow. I need this certificate really fast. Did anyone get it through Uzbekistanian embassy in Moscow the same day. If yes please let me know how and what I need to do. Also does my mom need to go to Embassy or Consulate Section of Embassy.

Also I called NVC to let them know I am obtaining police certificates. They told me they will expand timeline for one year. Does that mean instead of having priority date September 26 it will be postponed for a year? Please help
