For some people, the difficult is simple and the simple is difficult. The "pregnant man" now faces challenges in getting a divorce, just as he had in getting married. At least, getting pregnant came easily for him.

An Arizona judge isn't convinced he can divorce the pregnant man Thomas Beatie from his wife because he doesn't consider the transgender man, well, a man. Since Arizona doesn't recognize gay marriage, the judge argues that he doesn't have the authority to divorce a couple that - in his estimation - was never married in the first place, reports TMZ.

Beatie underwent a country and state-recognized sex change operation in 1998 but retained his female reproductive organs. Beatie's U.S. passport and Hawaii birth certificate were altered to identify Beatie as man. In 2003, he and Nancy wed as man and woman. But because Beatie had a ####### at the time of their marriage and has given birth to three children, the judge isn't entirely convinced by the paperwork.

The pregnant man is seeking a divorce from his wife Nancy because she allegedly abused him while inebriated. Beatie said, "She hit me in the crotch."

The judge is still deliberating as to whether he has the authority to grant the divorce.

This judge is going to get a lot of criticism from the crowd who are strongly against judges legislating from the bench, especially in Arizona!

According to the law, this is a traditional man/woman marriage with very little room for his honor's personal interpretation of misinterpretation thereof.

Depends really on how you look at it.

Hawaii might support freaks, but Arizona clearly doesn't.

You can alter whatever you like, but she's clearly not a man. The judge isn't blinded by some other idiot in another state who can't tell the difference between a ####### and a ####### at birth.

The other part being in Arizona it's not a marriage between a man and a woman, because a man cannot get pregnant, so technically they are presenting falsified documents to the court in trying to say that she is a man.

You may have not read the entire article. The documents were not falsified, so much as this man had a sex change and legally changed his gender in his documents, all according to the law.

So, despite of his personal views, his honor's commitment is to honor the law, which says that for all purposes, this couple is made of the traditional pair man and woman. It is really not up to this judge to legislate from the bench according to his personal opinion.

It is a no brainier. No law was broken and all he has to do is rule on the divorce. He should reserve his personal opinion for chambers or outside the court.

What a ridiculous response. Do you know how silly and sad you sound? Equating a transgender person to a wife beater or a murderer? You're one of those winners who equates homosexuality to child molestation and bestiality aren't you?

Beating your wife is a violent act that negatively impacts and harms another person.

A man choosing to identify as a woman, or a woman choosing to identify as a man, hurts nobody else. The decisions people make for themselves have no impact on you, no matter how much you'd like to be angry about them.

What the world needs less of is people like you forcing your negative opinions about EVERYTHING on everyone else. Stop judging people for living their lives the way they want to, hurting absolutely nobody in the process. Seriously ... start worrying about the people who are actually out there doing harm to others and leave the innocent people just living their lives alone.

So they don't live up to your standards of "normal" ... fine, so be it. But who are you to decide who gets what rights and who should be treated equally and who shouldn't? Oh, right. You're nobody. Just a guy behind a computer who cares faaaar too much about things that have no negative impact on you or anyone else.

Find something else to do with your time instead of spreading hate for silly, superficial reasons.
