Hafa Adai from the Island of Guam!

I have filed my I-751 last April 2012 and had my biometrics in May.

Todate, I still have not received my new green card. Does it really take 6 months for USCIS to process?

Also, my son who was granted a CF-2 is about to file for his I-751 as well by December of this year.

Can anyone help us on how to prepare the letter of explanation why his Adjustment of Status was not filed with mine?

I sure need a sample or template, if there's any. My son "Followed-to-join" me. Is there any particulars on that letter of explanation?

What joint documentation should we produce to support his I-751?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it takes around six months since you're serviced by the California center. Thank your lucky stars you're not serviced by the Vermont center -- they're working on November 2011 filers right now.
