hi there,

I am currently waiting for NOA2 for K1 visa..Here is my case I am a worker in Canada holding work permit and work visa. I have my permanent resident pending at CIC ( Canada). My fiance is an American citizenship, he filed out I-129F after I sent out PR application in Canada. I got rejected for tourist visa to US 2 times but those 2 times happened before my fiance filed I-129F for K1 and I want to apply it another time just to see my fiance on the weekend and I will come back to Canada because I have a job and K1 process. Should I mention to the PR application to the consulate on my B2 interview day to show them I have strong tie in Canada or will it make them confused because I also have K1 on process and it means that I will leave Canada anyway?. And should I say I will come back to Canada because I want to complete all the process for K1? Anyone has an experience about this case please give me an advice...I really need a B2 visa to visit my fiance. Thanks for all your help :)

If they've denied you for B2 twice already before filing I-129f, there's a strong possibility you may be denied again. But like you said, if you can prove to the consulate on your B2 interview day that you indeed have strong ties to Canada (job, lease, noa1 perhaps) then they could well approve you... But you have to have a good strong case. Why were you denied last time and what's your home citizenship? Think I read it right... Correct me if I didn't!

first time i got denied because I was in Canada only 6 months and they needed me to stay longer before applying the visa and second time they said I had no strong ties in Canada proved that I will leave The US and plus I answered an unclear question when they asked how long I wanted to stay in the US. Both of those times I didn't have PR process yet nor K1. I am from Thailand...

Give it a shot... And bring hardcore evidence of your intent to return back to Canada after your visit - how long will you be in the US for if you do get the B2? I think you will have a much stronger case if you intend to stay 1-2 weeks rather than say a month or two. Good luck
