Well, my marriage ended after my husband hit me weeks ago.

Now i am staying at a friends house for a few weeks and I am planning to go back to our house since I am still waiting on having news from USCIS (We applied for conditional GC 7 months ago)

While I was in court getting a restraining order this lady talked to me about the U-VISA I did some research and I find out that I am elegible for the VAWA visa..But i can't complete understand how it works.

I read some posts on Visajourney but people uses terms that i don't understand.

Can someone explain me how it works. and what happens after you apply.

I read the instructions on USCIS about the form i-360 and the documents I have to send it with but I would like to know what happenes after you send everything.

Another thing I read something like I could apply for Aos at the same time.. But i already apply for AOS 7 months ago (and haven't got any news from USCIS) Do i have to do it again. And pay again for Aos.

I am kind of lost of what steps i have to take and in what order.

I really want to know if it is worth it to apply for this visa or it is a waste of time because if it is I will just go back to my country before i do not have any money. Is enough with going through with the separation when you are not in your country with your family and friends to support you
