How exactly will these kids be paying for people that are waiting for their EAD?

Fees are supposed to cover the cost, so do not know.

US needs to create about 100,000 jobs a month to allow for the increase in the working force. 18 months has been added in one hit.

I was actually waiting on his response to throw that one out there.

Neither bill was unconstitutional. The difference is that Obama had the guts to do what a lazy congress could not do.

Newp. What Obama has done is not correct in a constitutional democracy. What's more he knows that. But anytime he doesn't get his own way in congress, he just signs another executive order. He hasn't got the right to legislate. He has conviently done this now, before the upcoming election, when he could have got off his ####### and done it anytime, from January 2011.

All these people, all this paperwork. All landing with DHS. The worry on the news just now is that they may not be equipped to deal with the deluge of paper, some of it fraudulent, all of it having to be gone over with a fine toothed comb, and in a month no less.

May not be equipped?? They can't deal with the legal immigrants in a timely fashion.

So what happens, the questions begs answering, to all those of us who arrived here by legal means. Those of us who coughed up the money, and took the adivce to do this the legal way, and got in the queue. What center is going to end up bearing the brunt of this mess?? How long are processing times going to be for the legal applicants??

1.8 million applicants. Every last one of these people that turn up, ought to have their filing fee magically turned into a plane ticket back to wherever they came from. If they moan that it isn't their fault, their parents are the ones who broke the law, they can take it up with mommy and daddy. Who are on the same plane out. It isn't up to the government here to fix the poor life choices and illegal actions made by the parents. Who cannot legally vote either, not that that seems to make a blind bit of difference.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

The only place I have seen that mentions a month for EAD is here.

I would be very surprised if it is not a LOT longer.

Apart from anything else you need to show a need to obtain EAD. Which could be amusing.

Just watch NBC, they found a Swedish girlie filling her paper work out! Must be going after the Dakota vote.

What he did is legal and constitutional, in the United States. We can have a different opinion and not like it, but it will not change the way the law operates.

One thing for sure. I bet the for all our VJ brothers waiting on EAD, Green Cards, NOA2 etc. I bet the 1.7 million just made their wait a lot longer. 10-1 gives you that the the paperwork filed today will be given priority by order of Obama.

Really. So Obama could just legalize Cocaine, Gay Marriage and Ban Chick-Fil-A with a stroke of a pen ???

I am sorry I said Chick-Fil-a again in advance :help:

Laugh I saw that also. I'm sure the vast majority applying for this benefit come from Scandanavia.

The Hispanic people I know that are here legally, are pretty much 100% against something like this. Probably more so than whites or blacks. It's a slap in the face to them.

Maybe you are right... These 1.7 million will add to the list of the 50% of all K-1 and CR/IR, whose marriages, according to statistical data, will end up in divorce and who shouldn't be here in the US in the first place.

Fortunately for all of them, the United States and our Constitution affords certain rights and privileges to all, a feat not available in many of the very countries from which these applicants are coming and i will bet you 100-1, for many, is the very reason they are leaving their countries behind and coming to America.

Is it really 50% ???/ About the same as regular marriages huh. I did not know it was that high ?

Now Back to topic.... I believe although our constitution does afford certain rights to illegals it does not give them the right to be here illegally or enjoy the privileges of citizenship.

They are leaving their countries because they are cowards.

When you count the tens of millions who have flocked here in the past couple of decades, and think of what they could have accomplished if they got together in their home countries......

No instead, they want to come, violate our sovereignty, all while waving their home countries' flags in the process.

Deport them, and find a way to make sure they NEVER step foot on US Soil again. They are criminals who have declared WAR on this country.

Data source? Are are you just making things up again? American to American marriages have a 50% divorce rate. Maybe it's the water supply in the U.S.?

I can not think of a legitimate source, would also be unreasonable to suppose it is much different from the norm.
