Good morning guys...

I'm just wondering what happen to my case coz its already 8 month i still don't have GC. I called today and they just give me confirmation number and they said follow up after 15 days. Did you try to inquire by letter? If anyone try to inquire by letter what did you put on your letter. Thank you very much.

It looks like you're also one of the December filers. They are just now working their way into that stack from what I can tell (based on trends here). I think you'll hear something soon from them with regard to approval or RFE.

The response you will likely get from USCIS with regard to your call in the meantime will be something along the lines of "we're busy and will get to it soon". It's basically a pointless call. A letter will also do you no good. If you don't hear something after the 15 days is up, I would suggest requesting assistance from either Ombudsman or your local Congressman or Senator. You can also request an Infopass if you're near a center.

Ombudsman contact here: http://www.dhs.gov/ombudsman-case-assistance

Congressman and Senator should have a webpage for you to request assistance on matters.

Best of luck and let us know if you get an RFE or something that you need assistance with.
