Ok. Thanks for the tip! I'll go look for Tan Tock Seng Travel and get vaccines there. I'm 30 years old. May I ask what vaccines you've taken? Para yun na lang din kunin ko. I have hepa A vaccine na but that was in college.

I used my fiance's credit card to pay for the CENOMAR. If on Tuesday they still haven't sent it then I'm gonna resort to FedEx. :/

I'm 30 also. I did MMR ($29), Boostrix ($30) and flu ($18) vaccines in Tan Tock Seng.

I'm sure MMR is required in the medical exam because the nurse checked my records for that. Not very sure about Boostrix and the regular flu vaccines. Maybe you can take MMR first. They didn't ask me about Hepa.

Are you PR? These vaccines are also cheaper in the Polyclinics.

Is your fiance here in Singapore?

Just a thought, maybe you can ask Tan Tock Seng to test you for the chicken pox immunity. Maybe they cost cheaper there as opposed to $42 in the clinic.

He isn't here but he is coming for the interview. How about you?

Yes, I'm a PR. Ok, I'll go and ask at our nearby clinic if they have vaccines for those three items you mentioned. It looks like TTSH is open only in the morning on Saturdays.

Okay I just checked online and TTSH is the closest and easiest to find so I'll check that out tomorrow! :) The consultation fee doesn't sound good though. Did you also pay for that? Of course, right? Ugh.

Nga pala, the nurse at the clinic asked if I worked in Tan Tock Seng. She's surprised I had my vaccinations in advance. If she only knew, I was just trying to avoid their high costs :) I should have taken the blood test for chicken pox somewhere else to save even more.

When I paid the medical exam, the cashier also asked me: "No vaccinations?!" HAHAHAHA!

My fiance is not here also.

I paid for the $15 nurse attendance fee. No other consultation fees.

Is your fiancé also from Michigan? Haha wala lang. Nagbabakasakali lang. :)

Good for you that you had everything planned out early! How about your NBI? I'm gonna be getting one only when I go to Manila next month. So I'm hoping I dont get interviewed so fast. Not ready!

Ah no, he's not :) I had to plan early because the wedding is on December and I need to be there by November for the final preps.

I'm heading to the Phil Embassy next week to get my fingerprints for the NBI clearance. I did that 2 weeks ago but the NBI office in Manila rejected my application because the ink used was in blue. It should be in black. So, I'm heading to the embassy to get another set of prints. Then I will be sending it to my Mom in Pinas so she can apply for me.

Went to TTSH this morning. It was sooo easy and efficient! Thanks for recommending this place to me! :) However, nurse recommended to wait for the newer flu vaccine out by Oct so I haven't taken it yet. I'm still thinking about whether I should take it or wait until later. Sooo confused.

I'm now at Lucky Plaza getting a hair cut before I have some photos taken. LOL. :)

How's the Manila embassy??

Haha! Are you Singaporean?

No No No.. I lived in SG in a year, I'm SO IN LUV with Curry Laksa meh.

The first time I had it, my throat constricted.

The second time, I ordered 'Laksa no Chili'. OK - that was funny for all the hawkers. No One Makes it without Chili. Over time, I steeled my system to handle it. It really is that good.
