Exactly...u r right....!!! I was left back in year 2005 just b'coz of ageing out ......very unfortunate that time...But this time i want to get all things done pretty quick and smoothly as possible....

I wish to get Interview in Nov rather than Dec.....I hav all ,my paper work ready and just waiting for my PD to be current by Nov.....

My wife is told that she will have her report ready for a pick up on the same day around 4pm or 5pm (don't remember exact time) at Ellisbridge center. So no need to wait till the next day unless there are some medical issues which need to be resolved before getting a final report.

Hey Sunshine_84 as i told u abt process at Ellisbridge...Here is the process not exactly but somewhat similar to that:

Carry following things on day of Medicals:

1. Original Passport and 3 copies of it

2. 3 photos (2*2) i.e. US Visa requirement type not our Indian Passport type

3. Appointment letter and 3 copies

4. Black pen

5. 3000-5000 Rs Maximum

When u go there they will give some forms to fill i.e.abt ur case no. , name, passport no....ete etc...

Then u will hav to pay some rs to get ur Physical exam done, then eye test.....after then they will again ask u to pay fees for X- ray and vaccines....Then u go to X-ray clinic for ur X-ray done...then they will check ur Vaccination records or will ask u and give u shots as they think would be appropriate.....Then u will go to Doctor where he/she will check and ask abt ur health and ete etc....Thats it u will be done by 12:00....if every thg is alright...they will ask u to collect ur report...either same day at 4:00 or 5:00.....or next day.....

This is general process but it may vary from person to person......But i suggest u to go there as early as possible i.e by 7 to maximum 7:30 AM Mrng so that ur Medicals r done by 11 to 12...so, accordingly u will get ur report same day....

Awesome! do you know what is the minimal set of vaccines they will give irrespective of whether you have vaccine history report from family physician or not?

Well ...thats what i am not sure about...coz it depends upon vaccines that we must hav taken during our childhood but unfortunately we dont hav the records....But we can say that we had those vaccines ...It will depend upon the Panel Physician who checks all this ....if he/she thinks its not required then he/she will not give and if he/she thinks to give then he/she will give....vaccines....

She completed the process by 10:00am and picked up her medical report by 5:00pm on the same day. She paid around Rs 1800 for entire process.

Thanks...Sunshine...for the Medical Experience of ur wife....Can u pls answer me some questions:

1. How many copies of I/L is needed exactly for Medicals...i.e. 2-3 ???

2. Accordingly how many copies of Passport is required..???

3. Which size photos should we take....2 * 2 or our regular Indian passport type and how many..???

4. Dis she had her Vaccine records which she took earlier..??? If not what did she told to doctor.???

5. Do they only take Blood sample or urine sample also..???

and hospital gave appointment of next day? or there was gap b/w when she called for app and when medical examination conducted ?

and i have one additional qun also....i have heard that medical reports are sealed...and cant be open by us.

so how can we know that everything is ok with our reports ?

did doctor told your wife that everything is ok ?
