Share your Medical Exam experience at Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad

I have my wife's medical examination coming soon at Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad.

She does not have any medical background history of any issues, so I think it should be pretty straight forward with one or two vaccines.

If you had done your medical at Apollo Hospital at Ellis-bridge or Indira Bridge, please share your experience with do's and don't for this exam.

I have heard that Apollo Hospital at Indira Bridge gives Report same day at 4:00 Noon if every thg is fine, We hav to arrive early by 7 to 7:30 mrng but the drawback is it is too far from A'bad main city...and to receive ur report u hav to come back at 4:00 PM. Ur all tests will be done by 12:00 PM and then u r free. But it is boring to go back to home and then again come back to take report...coz the distance is too far from main Ahmedabad...

On the contrary Apollo at Ellis Bridge is in the city and we can return home after medicals r done.......But i dont know whether they give report same day or next day....I myself am trying to get this Info.... If ur wife selects Ellis Bridge then do share her experience coz i myself am thinking to select Ellis bridge Apollo when i get my I/L...

Rest all the tests r pretty simple....I hav got these following information from one of my frd, Take following things when u visit Apollo:

1. Original Passport and 2-3 Photocopies

2. Original Appointment Letter 1-2 copies

3. Medical History records if u hav any...

4. 3000-4000 Rs/- per person

5. One Black pen (Dont forget to take Black pen it is mandatory)

Abt the process inside hospital i will ask my frd and then inform u...

thanks dude for sharing the info. Yes, she is going to have her Medical exam done at Ellisbridge because it's less than 15 minutes drive from her home. please share your friend's experience as well.

yes, it's up to you how soon you want to schedule after interview date assigned by NVC. but recommended to keep it in 2 weeks time frame from your interview date.

not sure, but mostly from Monday to Saturday.

Yes u have to take an appointment where u wish u will do ur Medicals...Its very simple...Call the Tel No. and tell them ur case No. and that u r having Appointment for Immigrant Visa at US Consulate Mumbai and tell them ur desired date and ask them to book ur appointment.....Thats it...they will confirm ur appointment on ur desired date and give u a Token NO. (I am not sure abt Token No. coz i hav just heard this)

AFAIK they schedule only up to 15 people per day at Ellisbridge center.

I will inform u abt the process at Ellisbridge Apollo Hospitals.....Just wait till tomorrow.....I will post here....But i dont know whether they give report same day or not...coz in my frd's case his father had some discrepencies abt Diabeties and he forgot his medical records so they were given report next day....But i think if u r medically fit without any medical problems u should get ur report same day...

My wife is told that she will have her report ready for a pick up on the same day around 4pm or 5pm (don't remember exact time) at Ellisbridge center. So no need to wait till the next day unless there are some medical issues which need to be resolved before getting a final report.

Thats Grt @smart84....so it is confirmed that we get same day our medical report at Ellisbridge Apollo Hospital.....But do post her experience here after she has done her Medicals...It will be helpful to our Gujjju members...

I am in F1 and my PD is just 3 months frm becoming current....same Mumbai Consulate.....And from next month New Fiscal starts for USCIS...so i hope by Nov or dec i will get Interview date...

Aaah I see. Sounds like you were missed out when your parents went to US on immigration because you were above 21 years of age, is that correct? Quota limit on F1 sucks. Let's hope you don't need to wait any further and reach your finish line pretty soon in November

Exactly...u r right....!!! I was left back in year 2005 just b'coz of ageing out ......very unfortunate that time...But this time i want to get all things done pretty quick and smoothly as possible....

I wish to get Interview in Nov rather than Dec.....I hav all ,my paper work ready and just waiting for my PD to be current by Nov.....
