Is anyone still awaiting an interview date with the Embassy in Jamaica? I emailed the DS230 form to them and they have been in receipt of it since July 31, 2012. This is what they need to schedule an appointment. But I call The Department of State everyday and so far no interview date has been set. Uuuuggggghhh...I had been told that once they receive the DS230, the interview is usually set within 4 days. If anyone has been or is going through this, please share. Thank you....

You need to e-mail the embassy not call DOS. You are doing a K-1.

I did email the embassy and they acknowledged that they had received the DS230 forms and they said that the case is ready to be set for an interview appointment. However, the appointment hasnt been set. I am only calling the Department of State to see if an interview date has been set. They give this information via phone.

I was able to get my date through the DOS. It took about 4 days after the embassy recevied the DS230. 4 business days. Good luck...its coming!

Yes...others have gotten their appointments as well within 4 business days. But its been two weeks for me now. I am assuming that the delay is due to the holidays and the olympics. I pray that they give me some good news very soon.
