Please help

I called the Nairobi Embassy today and they told me that my visa was approved but they cant find my file!!! They said i continue waiting as they look for my file ... i have been waiting for 21 good days now! What will happen to our visa now if they don't get the file!

O...M...G...they are frigging unbelievable...try not to worry, I'm sure they will locate the file. They have your passport correct? Perhaps the person you spoke to was mistaken??? I'm sure they will find it ASAP and get everything in order. I would have asked them what happens if they can't find it! I would call them back and raise hec, omg. I'm shaking my head. I'm so sorry they are putting you through this. Try and stay calm...I'm sure they'll locate it ASAP now that you've called. Send them an email as well.

How do you lose something so important? Than again these are the same people that told my wife to pick up her package only to find out that the package was not shipped.

Am trying my best not to worry but i cried all night. i called visa section after that call and they advised me to do an email to the contact us adress and describe the whole situation. today they have reply telling me that it is supposed to take 3 to 10 days to get my visa after approval and if it has taken longer time, i write to them with all my details and description of what has been happening. i have just done that... i cant believe am going through this.... but u know what i guess that file got lost 2 weeks ago... coz the first time i called the receptionist told me there is something she cant find but finally told me that the officer in-charge still has the file.... lets pray they do something after this.... i already resigned my job packed my bags them this... i will think this way there is a reason for God to let me go through this...

by the way i also asked them what will happen if they don't get the file, she told me they will have to open/assemble another file but they will have to search for it first n after asking all this questions i shock she hag up on me saying if we continue talking, it will be the whole day n she need to look for that file. they have my passport and my original Certificate of Good conduct n i guess they cant find them too... i will be calling them today to ask if there have my passport or it also got lost.. how can a file of about 200 sheet get lost in an embassy??? anyway

How do you lose something so important? Than again these are the same people that told my wife to pick up her package only to find out that the package was not shipped.

That is it.... something is very wrong in that embassy i tell u .... i have done an email this morning as they have requested lets wait n c. this is very serious ..... so depressed.

Just try to hang tight. I know how frustrating this is...I would probably be losing my whole entire mind and here I sit telling you to relax. But, there's really nothing left to do. Just keep in constant contact with them. I'm sure they will find it...I just cannot BELIEVE how disorganized they are! We have to do everything just right, perfectly perfect, exactly as instructed, or else...they can just do literally "whatever"...hang in there, my friend. I'm sure they will locate the file, and call you ASAP and you can go home where you belong next to your loved one

Just try to hang tight. I know how frustrating this is...I would probably be losing my whole entire mind and here I sit telling you to relax. But, there's really nothing left to do. Just keep in constant contact with them. I'm sure they will find it...I just cannot BELIEVE how disorganized they are! We have to do everything just right, perfectly perfect, exactly as instructed, or else...they can just do literally "whatever"...hang in there, my friend. I'm sure they will locate the file, and call you ASAP and you can go home where you belong next to your loved one

Thanks a lot for giving me hope when i was rely down... n as u said they found my file n sent my package to me. finally the storm is over! Again may God bless you.... finally will join my loved one..
