I have heard that once you have a foreclosure on your record it is harder to apply for a family member. Is this correct will this affect my husbands application? He is a UK citizen and I am a US citizen. We are living in Europe and want to move back to the US (home). Please help!!

That is incorrect. There is no type of credit check involved with immigration filings.

Only criminal and immigration problems could affect his visa!

You can have the foreclosure that really does not impact your application but you will be required to met the above poverty guidelines.

As long as you met those you should be good to go.

The only financial aspects of your life that are relevant are your current income and your tax returns. So long as you make enough to meet the requirement and your taxes have been filed correctly, you're good to go, or in this case, good to come! biggrin.gif
